GIGANTICKÁ Fotografie + English: Mass-01815 - 32-Pounder Guns (Taken on October 7, 2022, Sony ILCE-6300)
* The ship is well armed with many heavy guns. The cannons are inaccurate replicas, with 18 of them even bearing the Royal Cipher of King George II, date from the 1927-31 restoration. Constitution was rated as a 44-gun frigate, but she often carried more than 50 guns at a time.
* The guns currently on the spar deck are the largest on the ship: 32-pounders, meaning they can fire a cannonball that weighs 32 pounds. These and all guns currently on the USS Constitution are replicas cast in the 20th century. As of 1855, the Constitution was no longer a ship of war, and by 1897 all guns had been removed.
