Jej marketingovou značkou jsou nádherné ryšavé vlasy a obočí. Přitom jí módní fotograf [[Steven Meisel]] jednou přemlouval, aby si své obočí oholila.

Elson na molech převáděla pro mnoho módních návrhářů včetně [[Marc Jacobs|Marca Jacobse]] (pro kterého pracovala během těhotenství), [[Jean-Paul Gaultier]], [[Chanel]], [[Roberto Cavalli]] a [[Versace]]. Objevila se také mnoha mezinárodních kampaních pro značky jako [[Yves Saint Laurent]], [[Jean-Paul Gaultier]], [[Louis Vuitton]], [[Gianni Versace S.p.A.|Versace]], [[Christian Dior]], [[Burberry]] a [[Chanel]].
