This round tower was built after famous Renaissance architect Michellozzi's plan (1461 - 1570). It is said to be the oldest casemented fortress in Europe and contains a small lapidary collection and numerous cannons. | |||
* The round tower at the bottom is Minceta Tower, located in the North wall ending, facing toward the land. The name derives from the name of the Menčetić family, who owned the ground the tower was built upon. | |||
