  • Saint-Maurice Cathedral is a major landmark in the cityscape, with its two spires, 75 metres (246ft) high.
  • The construction of the current building started during the 12th century on the remains of an older sanctuary.
  • The twin spires were built in 1518 and 1523.
  • The pipe organ has been in the Cathedral as early as the 14th Century. But the current incarnation was built only in 1617.
