- Heading back down the river to dock.
- Charles bridge started in 1357 under the auspices of King Charles IV, and finished in the beginning of the 15th century. It replaced the Judith Bridge, which was the first stone bridge over the river and collapsed in a flood in 1342. Wooden ice quards protect the bridge from ice flows.
- The Old Town Bridge Tower was completed in 1380 and forms part of the old fortification system of Prague, built to protect the Old Town against northern invaders. It was partially damaged by the failed attempt of marauding Swedes to occupy the Old Town in 1648.
