The main communications tower for the city of Dubrovnik.
The construction of Fort Imperial started in 1806 during the French occupation of Dubrovnik. It was completed in 1812, on August 15, Napoleon’s birthday.
It is the symbol of defence of the City of Dubrovnik against Serbian and Montenegrin armies in 1991.
