- This is at low tide on the shore of the Bay of Fundy, the bay has the highest tides in the world.
- Twice each day, 160 billion tonnes of seawater flow in and out of the Bay of Fundy — more than the combined flow of all the world’s freshwater rivers ! Tides can reach a peak of around 16 m (50′) — the height of a 5-storey building in parts of the bay.
