- This is the main tower of the fortress, entrance is along the top of the wall.
- Kamerengo Fortress was erected soon after 1400, when Trogir became part of the Republic of Venice. The fortress is a result of an addition to the original Tower of Chains which was built in 1380.
- Originally, the fortress was surrounded by a moat and on the north and east sides there was a wide mound providing defence.
