- The 13th of September entrance, the stairs are 30m (98ft) tall and 27m (88.6ft) wide and lead to the presidential bureaus.
- I was told it was rebuilt, I believe 3 times, as Ceausescu wanted to walk down naturally looking straight ahead and not stumble. There are two staircases opposite each other one for him and one for his wife and they would meet at the bottom.
